Tucked away at the London College of Fashion is a gallery space under the clever curation of Magda Keaney. Upcoming is an exhibition of David McDiarmid's work, co-curated with Sally Gray, who holds the keys to the McDiarmid estate and wrote a PhD on house music, the gay scene, Ecstacy and utopia, and New York in the 70s/80s, in relation to his Disco Kwilts.
And currently showing is Yohji Yamamoto At Work, in partnership with the V&A, which re-creates the designer's studio space. There are drawings, boxes of trimmings, workwear reference books and fabrics you can touch - see pics. Aspiring fashion designers go see!
