Currently having a retrospective at Zandra Rhodes' Fashion and Textiles Museum in Bermondsey, Sue Timney is now doing a line for House of Fraser. Actually, she's done a good dress for the range - monochrome striped jersey - and a beach tote with cane handles that Peter York was raving about. She held a preview dinner last night at Claridges.
Personally, I'm a sucker for black, white and neon, see below... so... yeah, I liked it. But the original stuff (shown up top, from the retrospective exhibition) was better, obviously. Her prints on fabric - collaged graphics and delicate drawings - work best I think.
